Hospital Radio Perth is staffed entirely by volunteers and is a charity registered in Scotland No. SCO12048.
Each year we need to raise several thousand pounds to ensure the continuation of our service. We need to pay for licences, insurance, servicing and maintenance before we even begin to look at buying new music or upgrading equipment.
We are indebted to the management at Perth Royal Infirmary and to a wide range of companies, organisations and trusts who have supported us over the years - their help has ensured that we have become one of the UK's foremost hospital broadcasters.
We try to ensure that for each and every project we raise a substantial amount of the money through our own efforts. That might be a sponsored walk or broadcast, some sort of event such as a concert or silent auction, a car boot sale or any one of dozens of other ways we have found to raise a buck!
You can publicise your firm or organisation by sponsoring one of our programmes. For a very reasonable sum you can have several sponsorship messages throughout one programme for an entire year. It's a great way to get your message to our listeners and help a local charity at the same time.
Pictured here is our Head Of Fund-raising, Gemma Stewart with Ross Paton of Drainco who was visiting our studios at the launch of their sponsorship of our Monday evening request show. A great deal for both organisations.
We can provide all sorts of services such as quiz nights, treasure hunts, public address and discos.
Please contact us and we will see how we can be of benefit to each other.
